Privacy Policy — Worth

This privacy policy describes how Worth (“the app”) handles your information. The short version: your data never reaches us, because there is no “us” to reach.

What we collect

Nothing. Worth has no servers, no accounts, no sign-up, no analytics, no crash-reporting SDKs, and no advertising. The app makes zero network calls of its own.

Where your data lives

Your accounts, balances, and history are stored in a local database on your device. If you are signed into iCloud, Apple’s CloudKit syncs that database to your private iCloud database, readable only by your Apple ID, so your data follows you to your other devices. That sync is between you and Apple, governed by Apple’s privacy policy. We cannot read it; nobody but you can.

No price fetching, no bank linking

Worth never connects to your bank, never reads your SMS or email, and never fetches live prices. You own every number in the app, which is precisely why it needs no access to any of that.

Document scanning

When you scan a bank page, screenshot, or PDF, the text is recognised entirely on your device using Apple’s Vision framework. Images and their contents are never uploaded anywhere. Camera access is requested only when you choose the camera as a source.

Face ID

If you enable the app lock, Face ID is handled entirely by iOS. Worth is told only whether authentication succeeded — your biometric data never leaves the Secure Enclave and is never available to us.

Purchases

The lifetime unlock is processed by Apple through the App Store. We receive no personal information about you from the transaction.

Your data is portable

You can export everything as CSV at any time, free. Deleted accounts wait in Recently Deleted for 30 days before going for good. Deleting the app — and its iCloud data via iOS Settings — removes everything permanently.

Children’s privacy

Worth does not collect data from anyone, including children under the age of 13.

Not financial advice

Worth is a record-keeping tool. Its charts and projections are arithmetic on numbers you entered yourself, not investment advice. Consult a qualified financial adviser before making financial decisions.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date.
