Does it work without an internet connection?
Always. Vastu makes no network requests at all — every calculation and every piece of content is on your device. It works identically in a basement flat with no signal.
Why does the compass ask for my location?
Only to compute magnetic declination, which is what converts a magnetic reading into true north. It is used on-device and never leaves your phone. Decline it and the compass still works from magnetic north.
The needle seems unsteady or the accuracy warning appeared. What now?
Steel, magnets, and electronics distort the magnetic field. Step away from door frames, reinforced concrete columns, laptops, and speakers, and move your phone in a figure-eight to recalibrate. The app tells you when the reading is unreliable rather than showing a confident wrong number.
Where do the rules and verdicts come from?
From classical Vastu texts, with the source cited alongside each verdict, and remedies quoted verbatim rather than paraphrased. The Learn section includes a page explaining exactly how the scoring works.
Why is the 32-pada entrance analysis marked provisional?
Because the classical sources genuinely disagree on parts of the deity sequence. Rather than pick one silently, the app limits verdicts to the widely-agreed positions and labels the rest provisional.
What is free and what does the unlock include?
The 16-zone compass and the Learn section are free. The one-time lifetime unlock adds the Home Analyzer, Property Visit Mode, and PDF export. There is no subscription.
Is my floor plan uploaded anywhere?
No. It stays on your device. There is no server to upload it to.
