Why do the timings look slightly different from my local panchang?

Panchang timings depend on your exact location, so first make sure the app is set to the right place — your current location, or any of the 10,000+ cities in the built-in database. This is why an Ekadashi in New Jersey lands on the correct local day rather than Delhi's. If it still differs, check whether your local panchang uses the other month convention (see below).

Does it support Amanta and Purnimanta?

Both — they're one tap apart. Named Ekadashis (Yogini, Nirjala, Devshayani…) and Adhika months are handled too, and festivals are timed to the right moment: Diwali at pradosha, Shivaratri at nishita.

Does the app work offline?

Always. Every value is computed on your device, and the app makes no network requests at all — it works identically on a flight, in a village, or on a mountain.

How accurate are the calculations?

Panchang uses a professional-grade astronomical model with Lahiri ayanamsa, placing the Sun and Moon to about an arcminute.

Which languages and regional calendars are supported?

Read the panchang in English, हिन्दी, తెలుగు or தமிழ், with optional Devanagari numerals. Regional calendars include Tamil, Kerala, Bengali, Telugu, Jain, and Sikh.

What's free, and what does the lifetime unlock add?

The daily panchang is free. A single lifetime purchase unlocks the full calendar for any month and year, the festival calendar, and every muhurta and kaal. There's no subscription.

How is my data handled?

Panchang doesn't collect any personal data — there's no server to send it to. See the privacy policy for details.
