Privacy Policy — Panchang

This privacy policy describes how Panchang ("the app") handles your information. The short version: Panchang makes no network requests at all — there is no server to send anything to.

Data collection

Panchang does not collect any personal information. The app has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. We do not sell, rent, or share any data with third parties — because we never have it in the first place.

Location

Panchang timings depend on where you are, so if you grant location access your location is used solely on your device to calculate sunrise, sunset, and panchang timings for that place. Your location never leaves your device and is never transmitted to us or to anyone else. You can also use the app without granting location access by choosing any of the 10,000+ cities in the app's built-in database.

No network access

Every panchang value is computed on your device from a built-in astronomical model. The app makes no network requests, so nothing about your use of it — your location, your selected city, or the days you look up — is ever sent anywhere.

Data storage

Any preferences you set in the app (such as your selected city, language, or display options) are stored locally on your device only. Deleting the app removes this data permanently.

Purchases

Panchang offers a one-time lifetime unlock. Purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store — we never see or receive your payment details, and no account is created.

Children's privacy

Panchang does not collect data from anyone, including children under the age of 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
