This privacy policy describes how Panchang ("the app") handles your information. The short version: Panchang does not collect, store, or share any personal data.

Data collection

Panchang does not collect any personal information. The app has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. We do not sell, rent, or share any data with third parties — because we never have it in the first place.

Location

If you grant location access, your location is used solely on your device to calculate accurate sunrise, sunset, and panchang timings for where you are. Your location never leaves your device and is never transmitted to us or to anyone else. You can also use the app without location access by selecting a city manually.

Data storage

Any preferences you set in the app (such as your selected city or display options) are stored locally on your device only. Deleting the app removes this data permanently.

Children's privacy

Panchang does not collect data from anyone, including children under the age of 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
